Welcome to Monae’s Universal Styles. We appreciate us being your choice to bless your crown. To maintain the luxury standards and relaxing appointment for all clients, we have established the following policies. Please understand that these policies are subject to change at any time & are governed by law. Failure to abide by these policies will result in the cancellation of your service. By booking a service with us, you are agreeing to these terms. We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

SAME DAY & 48 HOUR: We ask that you let us know before 48 hours of appointment if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment booked. Cancellations made with less than 48hr’s notice will subject to a fee of 50% of the scheduled service cost. This charge is necessary to compensate for the time and resources allocated to the appointment.

LATE ARRIVAL: You will have a 15 minute grace period if you’re running behind. After 20 minutes your appointment will be canceled and you will be charged a cancellation fee. Your next booking will also require a deposit.

NO CALL NO SHOW: If you do not show up to your appointment and do not provide notice, 100% charge of the service cost will apply. This charge is necessary to compensate for the time and resources allocated to the appointment. Let’s be mindful of our time.

FRAGRANCE: Clients must refrain from using odors, including but not limited to marijuana, tobacco, vape pens & other strong fragrances during their visit. Failure to abide by this rule will result in a cancelation.

EXTRA GUESTS: Please do not bring anyone who will not receiving a service.

PAYMENT: We accept the following payment methods

  • Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)

  • Cash

OVERDUE RETWIST: To continue to have a beautiful loc journey, your loc maintenance on a regular schedule is important. 5-6 weeks is the best recommended schedule for matured locs. If you’re are overdue for a retwist, there will be an additional cost depending on the duration of the overdue period as follows:

- 3-4 months overdue : Additional $25

- 5-6 months overdue : Additional $50

- 7-8 months overdue : Additional $75

- 10-12 months overdue : Additional $100

Over 12 months : A consultation is required to assess the condition of the locs and determine the appropriate service and fee.
